Melodies of Compassion

Every Sunday all of the loose change in our offering goes to fund mission projects outside of the church. A specific mission is chosen for each quarter, which is highlighted in the bulletin and newsletter. Each year we give to a local, state, national, and international mission. Each year over $2,000 is donated to mission through our Melodies of Compassion giving.

Soup Kitchen

On the first Saturday of each month volunteers from Wesley serve a hot meal to approximately 110 hungry men, women, and children at the Interfaith Network Shalom Center soup kitchen in Kenosha. Please contact the church office if you are interested in this great opportunity to serve our community.

Please contact the church office for more information.

United Women of Faith

We meet one Tuesday each month.

The United Methodist Women are a community of women whose purpose is to:

  • know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ
  • to develop a creative, supportive fellowship
  • and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Visitors are always Welcome!

Small Groups

Over 3 billion people claim to follow Jesus, yet aside from a few verses, how many truly understand his teachings? In fact, much of what is believed about Jesus’s teachings is often misattributed. In this six-week study, pastor and bestselling author Adam Hamilton delves into six of the key themes found in Jesus's teachings, discussing their significance and relevance to us today.

The book will cover topics such as Jesus’s preaching on the Kingdom of God, the Sermon on the Mount, the parables, the “I am” statements in John, and more. Jesus's message is transformative, not only for individuals but also for the world.

Join Adam Hamilton in examining The Message of Jesus: Words That Changed the World. If you would like to participate in the class, please inform Alan Mulroy or Janice in the office at 262-652-8111. The cost of the book is $15.00, but financial assistance will be available if needed.
