MELODIESOFCOMPASSION

Every year our Outreach committee decides on 4 organizations usually, 1 local, 1 state, 1 National and 1 worldwide in which to help. All the loose change put into the collection plate, or any other monies designated will go to these organizations. We also try to have field trips for a service trip several times a year to help benefit the organization we are supporting for the quarter. In the past the organizations we have helped with melodies have included Curtis Strange elementary school, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Underground Railroad, UMCOR, Special Olympics, ELCA, and Northcott house among others. We have scrubbed floors, peeled wallpaper, and had the opportunity to build beds for service projects to help some of the organizations life.
